SANCtUARY

Purpose

Sanctuary Select Services, LLC is a short-term counseling service to lead individuals and couples into a state of emotional and mental wellness. First we identify symptoms of what is happening today and work towards finding the origin of your hurt or affliction began. The desired outcome is to overcome the present challenge and provide tools and access to resources leading to continued healing and a growing relationship with Jesus Christ.

Mission

Sanctuary Select Services, LLC's mission is to offer biblically based mental health care and healthy development for individuals and couples, while fulfilling the historic mission of caring for the hearts and minds of individuals. Sanctuary seeks to provide quality pastoral counseling services at an affordable cost to all persons. Informed by the wisdom of biblical instruction and the insights of behavioral science in an understanding and therapeutic approach to the healing of individuals and their relationships. Sanctuary not only cares for persons of faith, but also for persons who claim no faith orientation. Sanctuary recognizes the power of faith commitments in the shaping of self-understanding, of relationships with others, and of one's emotional health. Sanctuary encourages clients to make use of their faith commitments as a resource for their own healing and growth combined with the tools learned in counseling. 

Sanctuary Select Services, LLC Counseling Policy

Sanctuary does not currently have state licensed staff. Sanctuary does provide counseling services through Pastoral or Christian Counselor(s) that will utilize the word of God, the Holy Spirit, and Jesus Christ in conjunction with secular psychological and biblical counseling formal education. Counselees are encouraged to be active participants in a church, but this is not required. All counseling sessions may be videotaped or recorded on-line for accuracy and the protection of the counselor and counselee(s).

For individual and marriage (couples) counseling, excluding pre-marital counseling, the first session is an intake and assessment session and no fee is charged. If the counselor or the potential client(s) agree Sanctuary can meet your counseling needs we will develop a plan and schedule future sessions. Sanctuary's preferred duration of counseling is 6 - 10 sessions (weeks) based on the solution-focused counseling style, equipping the counselees with tools they can use to maintain wellness. Sanctuary will be available for tune-ups as they come up. 

Fees:

• Individual counseling services services bill at $75.00 per session.
• Couples and Marriage counseling services bill at $125.00 per session.
• Pre-marital counseling services bill at $150.00 per session with included resources for assessment for the 6 week program.

Payment and Insurance:

Sanctuary Select Services. LLC does not currently accept any insurance. Tele-counseling appointments made on-line or over the phone will be paid for at the time of scheduling. For other arrangements speak with the counselor.

Confidentiality:

Any statements made in confidence in the course of counseling will be kept in strict confidence by the counselor. As noted above, the duty to maintain confidences may not apply in the context of child abuse. A legal duty to report known or reasonably suspected cases of child abuse generally overrides the duty to maintain confidences (at least for persons who are required to report under state law). Further, the counselor may reserve the right to disclose confidential information in specified situations such as threats of suicide or intent to harm another person.

Cancellation Policy:

Cancelation of appointments must be done at least 24 hours in-advance to request a refund. Appointments may be rescheduled the day of the appointment based on availability. Refunds are not available for not showing for on-line or in-person sessions. Special cases will be considered on a case by case basis.
